Babs-ylon, I am frickin on fire! I can’t think of any better way to start off the weekend then to begin with “Nancy”. I have not yet established a strong base for the over-head-squat but I am pumped up for that challenge.

Heather,
What weight will you use on Overhead squat? I will do this tomorrow, but I may practice the squat, just so I can be assured to beat you:)

It is also a PR for myself since it is my first time doing it. Great Job everyone!
And Jason, I hope Dewey’s pizza quits selling meatball pizza’s so that the last one you seen was the one me and Stephen was eating while you were in agony.

And now I want some meatball pizza…

Couldn’t do nancy. Subbed front squats & rows. Don’t know my time. My body is in a rebellious stage.
April 3, 2009 at 8:07 pm
ok didn’t want to run the 5k at GA tonight but Holly promised me a meatball pizza at the finish.
I still have not meatball pizza
what did I get was some comments that I thought were in fairly poor taste. I finished in 21:50 a pretty good time for me.
Holly with no pizza in sight “hey nice run you only got beat by 2 girls”
Nick my 5 year old “ahhh daddy, to bad, you lost”
thanks for nothing family

For the record, Jason, I was partaking in a calzone stuffed with three cheeses, spinach, sausage, and extra chicken. And it was indeed delicious.
April 3, 2009 at 8:14 pm
Wow, Jason. Wouldn’t have made that last comment if I’d been aware of your evening’s trials.
April 3, 2009 at 8:14 pm
can’t wait to make this one up!!! pumped to work on OHS, not so pumped for more running… haha and after reading all this i’m starving!! i’m pretty sure meatball pizzas and calzones are about as zone-friendly as the pint of ice cream i ate the other night hahaha actually you guys were probably all weird about it and made sure it was somehow still healthy… i prefer a true cheat meal haha

Hi everyone! My first official WOD (not sure if Sunday’s FGB counts) and loved it – not during, but after. =)
21:38 (if I remember correctly) as Rx’d
Everyone has been so welcoming and awesome – thank you guys for making my week!
p.s. Katy and I had to suffer through Scott’s chipotle during our OHS *wrinkling nose*

The 30+ mph gusts made outdoor Nancy interesting, if not damn good Oly qualifier prep. Would have been a tight race w Arjuna if I didnt eat it in the mud at the end of the driveway thanks to some am rain and Puma running flats
