First time as prescribed at 66 pounds
20:11
First 3 rounds unbroken, fourth round 14+1, final 8+7
Cried a little in that fourth round, but I wanted to hold the green marker so bad!
I will happily take the green on this one. Well until siu and holly beat me…
Go get it girls!!
All sets unbroken. Need work on endurance. Been slacking for a month. No excuses. PR by 2 1/2 minutes. This was b/c my OHS got a lot better. Endurance on run I think went down
C&J up to 100 kg, ohsx3 @ 70, 90, 100, 105, 110F, bw(~83kg)x10. Heavy stuff wasn’t flying 1st thing in the am.
Then 21, 15, 9 of fatbar ctb PUs & ringdips – 6:36
Shoulders are smoked.
A PR by :39, but really I’m just happy to be able to do this with no shoulder issues. Everything feels solid. Tremendous performances today by Arjuna and Siu, who absolutely slaughtered this WOD to hold onto/regain the red and green marks on the board.
I really suck at OHS. All sets were broken into at three subsets…
I spent 7:30 running (treadmill 2degrees, 10mph) the remaining 12 minutes was spent on a whimpy 65 lbs.
What I liked was that my knee didn’t hurt. I even blitzed a 400 during my warm up at 13mph. I’m seriously thinking about starting back up the endurance WODS to get my fix. We’ll see.
I’m not going to lie, I surprised myself! First, this is a very sentimental WOD given that it my first “official” WOD ever (post the 3 fundamental sessions). (unless you count FGB which was a whole nother disaster) PR by almost 5 minutes!
Tried to analyze how I would actually go faster than the first time I did it. Starting explaining my plan to Stephen and he says, “Don’t even think about it, just go.” Thank you Stephen, that was exactly what I needed to hear. So I just went.

I’m just happy that horrifyingly embarassing 37:17 off the board!
25:31 at 66 lbs. I flew through the running, so the limiter is still the OHS. At least my rocklike ankles are more like sandstone than granite now!

First time with high rep OHS. The first two rounds were pretty bad then I got into a groove.
Siu is an OHS monster! She kicked my ass.

Glen, WHY are you such a freak of nature who can do things that even NFL players can’t do.
You are no longer “Captain America” to me.
My nickname for you is now “Dr. Freak”
