    Today is Greg’s last day in our gym before deploying overseas to protect our country and freedom. From day one, Greg has brought a tremendous energy and willingness to learn to CFN. It’s been this desire to improve in every capacity that has led Greg to massive gains in technique, efficiency, and strength in the few short weeks he has spent here.

    Even more impressive to watch, however, has been the support and encouragement I’ve seen you give to all of our athletes. Thank you for becoming a part of our family, Greg. It’s been an honor working with you, and our doors will be open to you upon your return. Thank you for your service.

    Stephen I have to say that for my money that was one of the more impressive things I have seen in or out of your gym. It was such a mix of emotions, it made me laugh, it made me cry, and it left me with a strange mix of shock with a thin layer of dirt that doesnt seem to want to wash off in the shower even though I scrubbed really really hard.

    for my part 22:20 with a pr snatch of 145 before hand

    This run was NOT fun at all!
    34:00 went down the wrong street which added time and probably walked more than i ran. UGH!

    Gorgeous day in the mid 70’s so we went for our first bike ride of the season. Probably a bit ambitious, but good nonetheless and was a nice “stretch” this early in the year. I guess we wanted to see what CrossFit had done for us so far.

    72k/45 miles on the Little Miami Trail up to Corwin and back. Fought a heavy headwind on the way back but still had a quicker time on the 2nd half.

    Time: 3hr 41min

    Penny thinks that should be a fair substitute for the 5k run that was supposed to be the WOD today. 🙂

    Uphill, into 30+ mph headwinds, certainly does NOT make the 5K go by quickly. Spent a bit of time hunting for Mike’s lost soul – totalled 27:41
