Great pic – look how excited Andrea is to embark on her first handstand adventure
I’m so proud of these people! Look at them!
Megs looks like she’s ready for WWIII.
And there’s Charlie; once again TALKING someone’s head off!
And, OF COURSE you can see Mike grinning thinking about eating those White Castles later to make him think he’s in shape. (But, we of course know that Mike has a S E R I O U S obesity problem).
The two on the far left; man oh man. They must be talking about all that wedding wisdom some guy named Scott has….
Neil (obviously hearing about the time I did the WOD in) sporting a 40% confused, 40% nervous, 20% misunderstanding look.
Lindsey and I were clearly discussing the mechanics of a solid hand stand push up… after witnessing Scott’s 1/2 shaved chest performance
105/115/125/130/115 (pr by 10lbs)
Before squats did a running cross fit endurance WO.
6 rounds of 3 minutes with 1 min rest after rounds, 1,3,5 and 3 min rest after rounds 2 & 4.
Still working on form over weight so didn’t try to go big.
10- 40m sprints
I also did the static farmers Hold but I forgot my time.
DL @ 115
400 m run
Legs like lead;
Quads on fire…
Not sure anymore if Foam Roller is still my new best friend…
He/she may be an asshole/bitch in disguise… only time will tell!
Still working on not popping my rear up first… ugh!
Thanks to Steve for showin Mandy how CF works! She loved it and couldn’t stop talking about it all day!
did yesterdays, to 1 abmat and a carpet square – 15:53
Did front squats
Just gave up after. Did front squats a week and a half ago and did 130 for 3
Not disappointed to get 2 at 135
Then farmers walk hold 1:26
The green number for now…
Also did 3 sets of 4 and one set of 5 of chest to bar pullups!! Wohoo!
Then: 10 x 40-yard sprints, starting every :45
Did yesterday’s workout, kinda:
12 pull ups
I couldn’t make it in today, so I ran 2 mi. And did the running endurance WO that Holly did…thought it sounded interesting. My shins hate me
265 was 3 rep pr coming in….very happy.
then 5 rounds of 3,5,7 pullup gauntlet.
tommy johnathan wouldn’t loosen up….not very happy.
On the minute:
Complete 5 burpees and perform max rep 135 lbs thrusters on the minute.
The goal is to complete 100 total thrusters.
*At the beginning of every minute perform 5 burpees, for the rest of the minute perform as many thrusters as you can during that minute. At the beginning of the next minute perform 5 burpees and then max rep thrusters and so on until you reach 100 total thrusters.
Finished 50 in 12 minutes. Holy hell
Shoulder stability work:
3 sets 1arm static handstand holds (15, 20, 20 sec)
L-CTB pullups (9, 7)
2pood KB swings 2×10
Brent, that CFFB WOD is disgusting. I couldn’t believe it when I saw it this morning. Holy hell indeed. Good job!
145 – 155 – 161(15lb PR) – 166(f) – 166(2+f)
Pleased. Have never front squat heavy until walking into CFN. At UA, the heaviest I ever went was 65lbs because I didn’t trust myself!
Continued pullup practice…
17lb PR today 🙂
something like: 135-145-160-175-185×2 then Fail. Last time was 180, so 185 is PR. Lots of technique to focus on.
The Kalsu “lite” (thrusters with a wimpy Frannish 95 vs 135!!) sounds tempting, but the horror, the horror…
Light 5 x5 deadlift due to hammie
then tried the CFF WOD
135lb thrusters did 29 in 13or 14 mins then had to rest and get pissed for 5-10 min and finished 21 more in 7 min for an even 50
That was one of the worst things to ever happen to me
Still working on form over weight as well….
ring dips, knees to elbows, pull ups. no movements to standard. (ok mabye a few)
185-205-215-225-230(2)(PR)-230 w/ belt for 3- and 240 for 1
Farmers hold for 3:02
