    Nice job Holly! I felt the same way! So weird because the deadlift isn’t that heavy but they certainly didn’t feel light by the middle. Kelsey its good to see you posting again! Nice job!

    12/74, 13/48, 15/31, 13/16 I really like that I did more DUs in 30sec than 2min… haha Took me a little bit to get into the rhythm today. Oh well, 2nd WOD ever with DUs so I’ll take it.

    Perhaps it was my fear of deepening the tone of what Kristin calls my “Castro Shadow” (it’s a San Fran thing) with another series of sit ups. Or maybe it was the “oh what the hell” aura Dustin was exuding while gearing up for a make -shift WOD. Anyhow, I clearly bailed on one of my weak points (DU) in favor of :
    5 rounds : 5 tire flips / 10 bench press with bar while parallel to floor on sit up machine / 15 KB swings (70lbs)/ 20 toe to top bar
    Time : 29:30 something
    4th round of tire flips lead to some incredible frustration as I struggled to literally get a f€¥£¤&g grip! But the fellow CF’s were there for me. Thanks.
    One final thought, DU’s are the “ballet” of crossfit – easily mocked at from afar but technically and physically demanding. The tire flip is the “low brow” WOD – no country club or globo gym – just primeval combo of bad ass and functional power moves.
    Tonight I was introduced to the tire (my first time) and highly encourage others to explore it’s challenges and rewards!

    I made up Linda at Camp Stryker yesterday the 17th while waiting on a chopper ride. It was really hot.
