Not really feeling two strength days in a row. Mr. Joshua maybe?

  2. Megs T says:

Thank you to all who helped me last night! Woke up this morning looking FA_BU_LO_US! 😉 My unicorn is not that big after all. I got 4 stitches from a cute doc… so my night ended better than i thought! lol

  3. Holly says:

    Did yesterday’s WOD

    sp: 65/65/70/70/70
    pp: 75/85(f)/75/80/85
    pj: 75/80/80/85/85

I hate lowering the bar for the multiple reps. I wish I could have someone stand there and lower the bar for me. Would that be cheating?

  4. Boomer says:

I’m really glad he was cute Megs, that makes a world of difference!

  5. Keri says:

Haha — Completely agree with Boomer! Hope you got his digits 🙂

  6. babs says:

that’s what i told her last night! nothing like a cute guy stitching you up! rawr! 😉

  9. Glenn says:

    Nice pulling gents!!

  10. GregH says:

after a solid three days off I hit it HARD today.

    Squat 5×5 225,230,235,240,245
    Bench 5×5 135,145,155,160,165

    5x 30 GHDSU, 25 back extensions.
    14:54.

I was confused as to why my time on the WOD was 1:30 slower and discovered that last time I did 25 ghdsu, 30 back extensions…

After all of this I sort of staggered around like a drunk for about twenty minutes. I haven’t felt so worked in quite a while.

  11. Stephen says:

    DL, 7 x 1 @ 315
    Rack pulls from just above the knee, 2 x 2 @ 405

First pulls in four weeks, so went in with a 315 limit. Back tight but it held up well enough to test out a few rack pulls. Good to feel even moderate weight again.

Finished with TGUs, working up to 2 pood.

  12. MegHan says:

    Deadlifts: 130, 135, 140, 145, 150, 165, 180. PR by 55lbs
180 was rough. Thanks stephen and brent.

  13. Zan says:

Holy cow, I dead lifted 175 today. Yippie!!!!!!!

  14. Long warmup, then
Strict press to test the neck – sets of 5 at 65, 85, 105 before Tabata Tuesday.
    HSPUs/L-PUs (48/40 total), then
    Ringdips/horizontal ringrows(53/58).

  15. Jason says:

    DL 405-455pr-405-425f-365-sumo 315-315

    15lb pr

  16. Megan says:

Jason you reached your summer goal!!! It was supposed to be 450 and mine was 240 before I start school. You got it and I was at 235 and I start school tomorrow!! Nice job!

First day back in the gym! Rowed 1k and a 500, 100 walking lunges, 100 oh squats with pvc, 30 pushups, 30 ring rows and a max plank hold at 1:55
Feel good and so so happy to back. Should be good to go with all moves in 3 weeks and back to the wods in 4-5 weeks! One day at a time… Stronger, faster and mentally unbreakable

  17. Holly says:

    Megan

glad you are back. If you need any help with your back as you get back into working out, let me know
    hope to compete again soon
    holly

  18. Boomer says:

    145-155-165-170-175(pr)-195-205(f)
not quite in the “200” club, but I’ll take a 20 lb pr any day!

  19. Andrew says:

    255-285-305(PR)-315(PR!!)-305(f)-295-295

15lb PR! I didn’t feel too strong during warmup but once I started going I felt pretty good.

After finishing deadlifts I did a set of 4 muscle-ups w/out coming off the rings. First time I’ve strung together muscle-ups. NICE!

  20. Lindsey S. says:

I have no idea what I was dead lifting… but it got heavy fast.

I maxed at 205. no pr today

  21. Ted says:

    225-275-315-345-365(PR)-375

    20lb PR – sweet!

  22. Jeff says:

Got to 295 – failed 305 twice – no PR today

    Miniature Mr. Joshua afterward:
    3 Rounds
    Run 400m
    30 GHD
    15 75# SDHP

    13:04

  23. Boomer says:

    315-365-385-405-425(PR)-445(F)-(315)

I hitched on the 445 rep. Made it up half way but then paused before pulling up all the way. I got the weight up but no pausing allowed (according to rule 7, section B, subsection 16, paragraph 3, page 36 of the Crossfit competitor’s handbook)

  24. Scott says:

above post was mine and not Andrea’s

  25. Melissa H says:

    135-145-155-165-170(PR)-175f-175f

    +5pr

Way to go Andrea, you were strong today!

  26. Glenn says:

It’s hard to complain when the girl next to you is doing lunges — with a broken back!! Welcome Home Megan!!

Andrew you sick bastard…and Scott, nice PR and screw the rules, is there a time limit for lifting your buddy to safety in Iraq? (Actually there probably is — some Army rule. We’ll have to check with Greg H on that one when he recovers from his self-inflicted beat down [see above])

Did the HSPU/L-pull ups 21-18-15-13-10-7-5 with first 5 HSPU (2 ab mats) then the rest being burpees with 1 foot jump: 18:40
    200 push ups
    Hollywood sit ups
    FCS
No run tonight – will start tomorrow.

  27. David says:

    165 (3), 225 (3), 275, 315, 340, 355 (f)

  28. RobW says:

    225-245-285-295-300-310 PR by 65 pound

  29. Fat Kid says:

HA! “Pause” is a very polite way of describing your strained, Stang-like bouncing of the bar at mid-thigh, Scotty. A tremendous effort, no doubt, but not as if we stretched the rule book to keep your lift off the board. Next time, buddy. We still love you.

  30. Jake says:

5 Mile Ruck with 60lb Pack at Mitchell Memorial Forest in full combat utilities – 1:06:42

Deadlift day to come on next rest/make-up

  31. Keri says:

    135-145-155-165-175-180(PR)-155

    Yay! A 25lb PR!!!

  32. GregH says:

Jake, you in the army or something? I only know a few types of people that do stuff like that when they don’t have to…

  33. Greg M says:

DL-355 (PR) after SP, PP, PJ makeup
