Chin over bar for PUs. Went all out with a 1:10 first round and couldn’t hold on for the win. Still a PR by by :40, and quite a bit of fun.
Got home and did tabata push-ups & squats
push-ups 8-3-3-4-3-4-3-2 = 30 these were hard since I haven’t been able to do them much, plus I was being attacked by a ninja kitty.
squats 16-12-9-12-12-10-12-12 = 95
added some Turkish getups w windmill @ 10lbs.
7:13 with 75lb thrusters
4 minutes faster than my last Fran in May. I’m ok with that. Fran makes me sleepy.
My goal for end of 2009 was a sub-10min Fran.
Today – 9:49 PR by 3 minutes!

Since I missed the 5K I did a “Running Fran”
Due to some pretty poor diet choices this weekend, I did it with a 20lb vest for punishment. Forgot what that does to your ability to breath while running, thus the drop from 800 to 400m
Thanks Tim. Great creativity with the “Running Fran.” Will have to explore this option…in due time.:-)
