can I just press these? seriously. why jerk such a low weight?
Greg – the use of a jerk here is curious, no? However, I think making this a strict press would take this from a relatively fast-paced workout to one featuring many breaks. A push press makes the most sense to me, and will likely yield the fastest time for most athletes. I think you should give it a go with strict presses and report back…

Scott – 75 pull-ups isn’t that big of a deal for an athlete who has been diligently working his way through 45 pull-ups every day in the warm-up for the past 10.5 months…
Mostly push presses, maybe a push jerk or two.
I could use a break from pull-ups, too, at least until Monday.
My fleshy hand does not want anything to do with this wod.

Got roped into pounding steaks into the ground for 3 hours this morning, and I still can’t breath out my nose. I hate taking two days off in a row, but I won’t be in today either.

I did my first L-pullups, but not full reps. Did as many as I could each round then switched to regular PU’s for the balance of the 15 reps (L-PU’s by round 8, 5, 5, 5, 5)
5 rounds of:
run 400 m
15 swings @ 53 lbs, Russian style
Could’ve gone faster.
Back squat, 3 x 5 @ 235
Bench press, 3 x 5 @ 160
Power cleans, 5 x 3 @ 190
15 minutes rest, then for time:
30 Russian swings, 100 lb.
10 minutes rest, then:
Weighted GHD sit-ups, 3 x 10 @ 10 lbs.
Morbidly Stupid Eva
20 lb vest and 100 lb kettlebell.
This was a mindfucker.

Holy hell, McNaughton! That is insane.
Scaled up, 115lbs push jerk. = 11:48 I think.
So I was wrong. The jerk was where it was at for this.
Pressing 95×75 sounds like a great workout though…

2. I do not diligently do the required 45 pullup warmup. Shame on me. Will not happen anymore
