Jenna B—ha. Time to get your game face on!

  2. Jeff says:

Not to sound like a pansy, but I don’t think a 5k would be the best thing for my current respiratory situation (getting over a throat bug from the weekend that’s screwing with my asthma.) I’ll be in tomorrow morning to sub something, though.

  3. Tim the V says:

Ah, shoot. Punishing me for doing this on Sunday, I see.

  4. JennaB says:

Damnit Steve! You said “a little running” when I asked about this… Jerk. lol Oh well, PR time!!!

  5. Lindsey S says:

    hahahha… seriously??

  6. Holly says:

    Yesterday’s WOD
    Shoulder press: 45/51/60 X 6
75 Snatch’s at 55 9:54 (I think that is the slowest time. I was trying to work on my form a bit, since I never snatch. This is another one of the movements, I don’t understand how to do super fast.)

Over the weekend I did the Bear complex at 75lbs and Jerry (run 1 mile/row 2000/run 1 mile) from the main site in 28:40

  7. Melissa H says:

Brent-this is not the 8-12 minute “benchmark” you said we would be doing today…

  8. katyv says:

    Jenna you better get sub-30!

  9. Brent says:

Oops, I was thinking ahead a week.

  10. jay Ernst says:

    7min amrap of:

    5 rounds + 3 bj

Traps are screaming at me today, and hamstrings don’t feel so awesome either.

  12. Jeff says:

Warmed up then worked on handstand push-ups and free stands, butterfly pull-ups and double unders. Back to wods tomorrow.

  13. Ted says:

    DL 325(11)

not as good as i wanted but i’ve run more in the last week than in about the last 6 months so my legs are a little fried. sub-30 next time for sure!!

  17. Rob W says:

Ran 25:55 Which is a PR by 3:14. so that is pretty cool, probably lost 25 pounds since last run so I imagine that helped.

  18. jay Ernst says:

    25.39 that was fun!

  21. Greg Harris says:

I was going slow and steady, then some random chick passed me and as her little pony tail swung from side to side out of view my soul was crushed.

  26. Andrea says:

I am almost embarrassed to post my time, but I am proud of myself for doing it AND keeping a positive attitude about it. Next time, I’ll hustle more!
Oh, and I’ve got some motivation. I’m running the Reds 5k on June 5th! I did it a couple years ago and it was a lot of fun. Here is the link:

  27. Thcott says:

    Mil press: 110, 130, 145

    5K: 27:31 (1:10 PR)

Funny story: As I began the 5k, I told myself I would not stop until I got to Brotherton. The whole time I kept pushing myself and said that when I got to Brotherton, I would take it easy and walk for 1 minute…

So…. –> As Brotherton approached, I grew excited. Finally, some rest! As I reached Brotherton, I thought “noone is around to watch me, I can simply walk for 1 minute and noone will know…”

Well…. –> Steve must have sent a henchman out, because I was not even 15 seconds into my walk when barreling down the street came a white mini-van…

a white mini-van–> along with this van came the voice of MegHan screetching “Come on, Scott; MOVE IT!…”

*props to her for showing up at the right time

  28. Jason says:

5k 23: something, not my best day legs felt very heavy…. Time to start paying attention to rule #1 a little more

  29. megHan says:

SCOTT! i love that story. I never go that way and I was sitting at felding and brotherton and there looked like traffic up ahead on marburg so i said, ah, i’ll go brotherton (completely oblivious to the 5k route). As I drove I was like, shit, there’s andrea, then you (had to say something) then comes tim v and tony. loved it! everyone was running but you!

  30. megHan says:

(everything happens for a reason, right buddy!)

  31. Lee says:

    5K 25:29min (PR by 1:51)

  32. Amy TV says:

5k 38:10 (messed up on the route missed Felding and went to Ridge and then back onto Cardiff).
